Ejona Maci, 28, grew up in Hasbrouck Heights and currently resides in White Plains, New York. She opened the doors of her downtown Westwood boutique, MACI, five years ago.

"I grew up in retail and always shopped in boutiques because they had hand selected items," says Ejona. "I've never been a mall shopper, instead I gravitate toward special items that you can’t find everywhere.”

The chic and minimalistic black and white store interior with galvanized industrial pipe racks, holds feminine floral dresses, lace tops, ruffle skirts, jumpsuits, and pretty pieces that juxtapose the space perfectly.

MACI'S customers are women of many different ages who love everyday fashions for everyday lifestyle. The pieces could be best described as mutli-use and easy-to-wear, with lots of date night options, work attire, and casual comfort items for running errands and brunching with girlfriends. 

"The clothing I select really represents the needs and wants of my customers, and I always aim to stay ahead of trends," she says. "The pieces are also a reflection of my personal style as well as my manager, Jennifer's style."

"I would describe my style as simple, feminine, and most certainly understated elegance,” says Ejona.  “I almost never wear jewelry, and I really I like easy shopping, where I don't have to dig through racks to find pieces," she adds. "That same aesthetic transcends into my boutique.”
